My first novel, Implements of Destruction has finally been released and is available now from Amazon and other booksellers. The easiest way to get it is to click on the image above and jump straight to the Amazon site. If the book is not available in your favorite bookstore, you can ask them to special order it for you.

While a large number of my short stories are science fiction, this novel is fantasy (I like both genre's equally well). It is about a daemon who has recently escaped from Hell and is trying to fit in with the humans of the overworld while being pursued by hideous monsters known as "Implementors." It is the story of how the daemon's fate is tied to that of two unlikely humans, a strange woman who had been hunting him, and cowardly thief who'd never before left the small town of his birth, and how each of them grows as a result of their harried flight together.

Although I've previously released stories that take place in this universe, most notably Circle Of Power and Getting Into Mischief, this is the first time I've introduced Bytor and Theala, two characters who mean an awful lot to me.

And now, after giving you 35 short stories and the novel-length Daily Dose for free, it's time for me to ask something in return. It would be too crassly commercial for me to beg you to go out and buy my book. But, if you do read and enjoy it (whether you buy it, borrow it, or check it out from your local library) please go to the Amazon site and say a few words about it. Amazon has said time and time again that sales are directly related to the number of reviews a book gets. Be honest in your reviews. If you think the book is only worth 3 stars, say so. I can take the feedback. But please do post your opinions.

And, if you enjoy the book, please tell a friend about it. Give him or her your copy if he or she is worried about the cost. I'd much rather have a lot of readers than a few paying readers. So tell your friends. Everything I've done on this website, the stories, the Daily Dose, the eBook versions, have been gearing toward this release. I've got my fingers crossed that it'll go well.
